Bio Pots
Since 2021, we’ve been working to switch all of the pots we grow in from traditional plastic to ‘bio’ pots. Our ‘bio’ pots degrade naturally once they’re planted to keep unnecessary waste out of landfills. You can find many of our annuals, perennials, and hanging baskets residing in them.
Pot Recycling
For the plastic that still exists in our operation, we offer take-back services for all pots and trays, even if they’re not from our nursery. We reuse all we can and recycle the rest. You can drop off unneeded plastic anytime we’re open.

Composting
All organics (plant trimmings, food scraps, etc.) generated by our facility are composted on site. We offer three different kinds of compost for sale in bags, as well as compost in bulk, so you can get your gardens started off and amended the right way.
Native Plants
We strive to offer a robust selection of native perennials, trees, and shrubs to support pollinators and wildlife. Native plants are typically easier to care for since they’re already adapted to our growing conditions. We also grow without harmful pesticides and herbicides so you can rest easy choosing plants that are grown with you and the environment in mind.

Future Initiatives
We are always investigating new ways to reduce our footprint, including rainwater collection, decorative pots made from recycled/sustainable materials, and peat-free soil options. Stay tuned as we continue to work to lessen our impact!
